Born in Ferrara, Italy, the pianist and musicologist Béatrice Bregoli studies piano at the Conservatorio superiore di Musica in Bologna where she obtains her dilpoma and presents also a thesis about the role of the music in the cinema of the avant-garde.

In co-operation with the jazz-trompeter Paolo Fresu she creates the soundtrack for the silent film Satanic Rhapsody by N. Oxilia (1915).

Her passion for latin-american music leads her to the exploration of the Argentinian repertoire, especially the music of Astor Piazzola and to work with the Argentinian pianist Hugo Aisemberg. She plays regularly in concerts with Milontango.
