The Argentinian flutist Miriam Nachtigall obtains a diploma at the Conservatotio Superior de Música of Buenos Aires, where she studies flute in the class of Alfredo Iannelli and chamber music with Miguel A. Estrella. Because of her passion for tango music and Argentinian folk music she specializes in the interpretation of tango with Arturo Schneider (the flutist of Astor Piazzolla) by working on her preferred repertoire: the music of Astor Piazzolla.

Miriam Nachtigall performs south-american music and jazz-tango in Argentine and Uruguay with Novatrio and the Cuarteto Scherzando. She lives in France since 1996 and performs regularly in concerts with various groups, she dedidates the concerts of Milontango exclusively to the music of Astor Piazzolla.
