Clara Novakova, born in Brno in the Czech Republic, studied the flute in Italy, Germany and France. She won several awards (Rotary Club Stuttgart, Pro Musicis Award New York-Paris) and prizes in international competitions (Ancona, Stresa, Palmi,...). In 1988 she became first flute of the Ensemble Orchestral de Paris.
Her solo career includes performances with orchestra, recitals and chamber music concerts in Europe, USA and Hong Kong. Among her recordings, her interpretation of Saint-Saëns was awarded a “Diapason d'Or”.
