Béatrice Pary is frequently invited as a soloist in oratorios; she likes particularly smaller ensembles permitting her to explore and to promote less known und innovative repertoires. With the medieval ensemble "Witizia", founded by Luis Barban she thus embraces a repertoire from the Gregorian music to Josquin des Prés, and she records the CD "Protus rei" in 2009. She is also enjoying the first performances in new music with the women ensemble "Héliade", under the direction of Elène Golgevit. As a member of the « Quatuor vocal de l’abbaye de Sylvanès » with its concert programs in spiritual music a cappella, she participates in many first performances and recordings with works by the composer André Gouzes. Since 1997 she performs with "Les Indes Galantes", a baroque instrumental ensemble under the direction of the founder Vincent de Meester, and explores the repertoires of the 17th and 18th century, dives into the exuberant world of the Opera (Stradella, Campra, Haendel, Monteverdi…) or the more contrasting sphere of the motets and cantatas. The present recording is the outcome of a long and passionate collaboration with both, the instrumentalists and the aristic director Elisabeth Jacquemin.
